Absolutely. While this may seem like a no brainer because we are a smaller operation we get to be more personable with out clients. A full mentorship will be offered with ANY of our babies.
Yes, disbudding is not recommended in this breed due to them having many benefits including helping them regulate their temperature. If horns is something you absolutely cannot do I recommend a naturally polled highpark.
Most people assume that cows need "X" amount of land. Typically standard size cattle need 1 acre per cow to GRASS feed. If you plan to supplement with hay or grain this is the exception to the space rule of thumb.
With the right guidance highlands CAN and DO live comfortable in Florida. There are many things you can do to keep them comfortable just like you would lets say a French bulldog. Getting a highland that is raised down south is extremely helpful as they are acclimated to the temps. Feeding VitaFirm HEAT minerals is on the TOP of that list. If you have property with a pond expect to see them cooling off. Misters / Fans can also be set up if you have the means, however I will say with VitaFirms heat minerals our cattle do not need the extras.
